Character Name: The Red Sage
Game: Riviera – The Promised Land
Age: 14~15? She looks that age.
Journal: sachikokotobuki.livejournal.com
Canonical Role: Well, not much to say here, since she only shows up in the 4th Chapter, trying to foil Ein and company's quest to reach the Accursed, Arcangel. After their plan turned out to be outwitted by the troupe, Ein had to face an important moral choice: Should he pass judgement on them, or should he forgive them and let them go in peace?
Her background in Apocrypha: Sage's life was a very hard one. Her family was never too rich, to begin with, what with being lower class demons. They were among the few who were not involved in the Ragnarok, and they weren't too ambitious either, never wanting to get on power struggles or any other exciting errands, something that was... 'extremely unusual' in demons, euphemistically speaking. Demons craved for power and struggle! Sage, despite her parentage, was no exception. Her brother, Fool, was a different story, though. Just for the sake of not being related with any of them, Sage was determined to go to great lengths, even if she actually cared for them. Image before everyone else was EVERYTHING for her. And so, she started undertaking exhausting Training from Hell to become the best of the best, something demon kin would be proud, instead of the pathetic loser her brother was. By seeing how much she exerted herself to that end, it was no wonder she was granted a scholarship at Collegium Caelum's Collegia Gladiara. This is the golden chance to prove she can do great things. But, will those things be glorious, or terrible?
Sample post: Sage faced the guy before her with a frown, trying to look as imposing as she could despite her considerable lack of height. This guy had just told her to be a bit less impetuous with her flailing, lest she would end up gibbing someone during sparring. What he didn't know is that, nobody tells The Red Sage what she must or mustn't do, without awakening her anger! That, and the height difference only made her even angrier...
“Ah, so there you are... You brainless testosterone giant!”
“Huh? How come? I'm not even fit!”
“Yeah, yeah, try to fool me! You're a brainless, dishonest testosterone giant! Didn't your mama tell you that no one is better just for being bigger?”
“What? Look, I don't know what you're talking about. I was just here, studying, and you come calling me testosterone giant for no apparent reason! Is it because of what I told you back in class?”
“Ah, look at you! Now you're trying to look as if you hadn't ever done anything wrong. You're a brainless, dishonest, HYPOCRITE testosterone giant! And I'm gonna turn you into ludicrous gibs right now if you don't apologize for trying to give me orders!”
